A Physician's Transformation & The Rebirth of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Dr. Wang Wen Cheng's 50+ -Year Medical Journey

In an era dominated by Western medicine, one doctor chose to go against the tide.

His name is Wang Wencheng.

๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ A 50-Year Journey of Healing

From Western Medicine to TCM, From Skepticism to Mastery

Before 1977, I didn't believe in Traditional Chinese Medicine.I even considered it "feudal superstition"

๐Ÿ”„ From "TCM is Superstition" to TCM Master

  • In 1969, he embarked on his medical journey, engaging in endemic disease prevention and clinical work. After completing his medical training in 1973, he became a general practitioner, quietly working at grassroots healthcare positions.
  • Back then, he was a standard materialistโ€”before 1977, he didn't believe in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), even considering it "feudal superstition."
  • Everything changed in 1975 when Dr. Feng Tianyou successfully treated
Vice Premier Li Xian Nian's lumbar spine disease using TCM techniques, sparking a nationwide wave of TCM learning. Premier Zhou Enlai personally issued directives, and Beijing took the lead in establishing "Integrated Chinese-Western Medicine Orthopedic Treatment Training Programs," enabling countless doctors to rediscover the power of traditional medicine.

That year, he witnessed the miracles of TCM healing for the first timeโ€”Patients could stand again without surgery

๐Ÿ’ก A Serendipitous Discovery in Australia

  • In 1988, Wang Wencheng was invited to Australia as a visiting scholar. In 1990, he immigrated to Australia and obtained a Master's degree in Acupuncture.
  • At his Melbourne clinic, he encountered several special cases of acute lumbar disc herniationโ€”patients who couldn't lie flat due to pain and could only lie on their side; they couldn't receive massage therapy or even be touched. Traditional treatment methods were all unusable.
  • Wang tried using the "Thousand-Step Pulse" diagnostic method he had just learned to locate pulsation points on patients' bodies. Then he inserted needles at these pulsation points.ย A miracle occurredโ€”patients recovered quickly.

๐Ÿ”ฌ Three Original Theories

The crystallization of tens of thousands of clinical cases

Heart-Liver Deficiency Causes Depression

  • Those diagnosed with "depression" invariably showed "heart-liver deficiency" in their pulse.
  • By regulating the heart and liver, countless patients have emerged from emotional shadows.

Lung Deficiency Causes Allergies

  • Behind constant allergies and nasal congestion is the silent cry of "lung qi weakness."
  • Strengthening respiratory system defenses at the root.

Spleen Turbidity Causes Skin Issues

  • Recurring skin problems are rooted in "liver-gallbladder heat accumulation."
  • Balancing internal harmony to improve both skin and digestion simultaneously.
